Ukrainian Azovstal steel plant soldiers who surrendered became POWs, Red Cross registry confirms

The Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered Mariupol's Azovstal steel plant, the last bastion of resistance to Russia, have become prisoners of war in Russian-controlled areas, the International Committee of the Red Cross reported, after registering hundreds of POWs.
